๐Ÿ’ฎ Pasifika Study ๐Ÿ’ฎ

For a few weeks we have been learning about Pasifika. I was so excited to learn about the lifestyles that usually happen back in the islands. Before we could start our drawings and designs, we had to create our own piece of writing about the Tongan Tapa. It was so hard to focus because of the noise in the classroom. After all the researching and reading it finally paid off. Since we were writing about the Tongan Tapa we obviously needed a drawing or design with it. I'm very glad that I learnt about the different cultures.

๐ŸŒž What A Beautiful Day To Do Fitness ๐ŸŒž

Today was a wonderful day to do running. Even though it was a bit chilly it still turned out very good. After the long weekend everyone looked shattered and tired. Looking at the sky it was crystal clear and really sunny to at least do some exercise. Once the bell rang everyone walked casually like always and stood in line to wait for Mr Reid. When Mrs Golder started the timer everyone dashed off in a flash. About five minutes into the fitness, everyone was puffed out, but we had fun anyway.

๐Ÿฅ› National Milk Day ๐Ÿฅ›

Today is an exciting day for New Zealand.  It's National Milk Day! Since it's National Milk Day our teacher decided that we should have photos taken. I didn't know there was a day called National Milk Day, until our teacher mentioned it. I was really confused. While everyone settled down drinking their milk I took pictures of everyone in the class. Milk is very good for our bones, muscles and our health. I'm glad that we celebrated National Milk Day.

⚽ We Won Gold ⚽

I woke up filled with excitement because we had inter-school soccer competition.  I was thinking about the weather but as I turned around all I could see from a distance was a crystal clear sky and the bright yellow sun.
As we walked casually on the field  we quickly unpacked our equipment and played our first game. It was kind of nerve-racking waiting for the hooter to go. We were actually not that bad, we won most of our games against Glen Taylor, Sylvia Park and Saint Patricks, but we sadly lost to Tamaki Primary. After all the frustration and team work we managed to come first with Stonefields. What a great day!

๐Ÿด Cooking Class ๐Ÿด

One more week to go of cooking class! Throughout the morning I've been thinking about what we could be making but nothing hit me. Once the bus arrived everyone was so hyped to go to Technicraft. As we slowly walked to our classes I could feel tiny droplets of rain coming down on me. As the rain started to get heavier and heavier we all rushed to find some shelter.  Luckily someone kindly opened the door for us and we were able to enter. As we settled ourselves down, Mrs Tuipolotu told the class ''We're making Blueberry Muffins''. My face literally went red, that's how nervous I was. But I enjoyed it anyway.

School Begins ๐Ÿ˜

I woke up extremely excited to go to school. I actually thought that 2 whole weeks without any learning and no friends was a bit too long. On the way to school I felt a slight chill heading towards me. As I slowly walked closer to class I spotted all my friends, I jumped with joy. As soon as the bell rang everyone walked casually to their daily fitness. I think that my first day back at school was really fun!!

Lights, Camera, Action ๐ŸŽฅ

For the past few weeks a group of students from Rooms 11 and 12 had the chance to create a slide presentation for Te Oro. Only the best students were chosen,

The students who were chosen were those who showed high standard in art and writing. They were myself, Athens, Katrina, Saluselo, Mika, Min Zin, Jack and Maia. For the first few days we spent time organising our ideas so that we knew what we wanted on the slides.

My plan was to create an inforgraphic about four different pests, around our local area. Our main purpose was to  make it interesting, creative and entertaining.

Now there is only one more week to memorise and focus on our learning.
