♬ Our Moana Singing ♬

Yesterday we were preparing for our Pasifika Display. Each class in our entire school had to come up with a song related to the Pacific. There were so many songs to choose from, but the main song our teacher thought of was Moana: How Far I'll Go. Everyone in our class obviously knew the song especially me. Once the song started all of us were so shy to express our voices. But as we started to gain confidence it became familiar and everybody started joining in. It was a different experience and one that I began to enjoy, I hope everyone else felt the same way.

๐Ÿƒ My Experience At St Kents ๐Ÿƒ

I walked into class and noticed on the board that we have St Kents Day! I jumped with joy, it's been nearly 2 years since I last went there, this was my opportunity to go again. Once the bell rang everyone who was invited to come bolted off like a cheetah especially me. I was glad that I had Tupouseini, Vika and Mary to support me. As we walked to the bus like mature students we quickly seated ourselves and off we went. When we arrived we were so happy that we quickly rushed off the bus and waited in our class lines. We had different but fun activities to do. I'm so excited to see what we'll be doing next.

๐Ÿฅ‡ Our Skipping Improvements ๐Ÿฅ‡

I'm so happy to do skipping. For the past few weeks our class have been doing a lot of practice for our skipping display. Our warm ups have really been helping us to become better than before. After our warm ups we are split into groups of up to 5 or 6.  I must say after all the hard work we've all put in, it actually showed when we were displaying our moves. Everyone had different skill levels with skipping -  some were beginners and others were advanced. During our practice our teachers were choosing people for our skipping competition that will be happening at the end of the term. But I know that if we keep practicing it will all make a change!

๐Ÿ’ฎ Pasifika Study ๐Ÿ’ฎ

For a few weeks we have been learning about Pasifika. I was so excited to learn about the lifestyles that usually happen back in the islands. Before we could start our drawings and designs, we had to create our own piece of writing about the Tongan Tapa. It was so hard to focus because of the noise in the classroom. After all the researching and reading it finally paid off. Since we were writing about the Tongan Tapa we obviously needed a drawing or design with it. I'm very glad that I learnt about the different cultures.

๐ŸŒž What A Beautiful Day To Do Fitness ๐ŸŒž

Today was a wonderful day to do running. Even though it was a bit chilly it still turned out very good. After the long weekend everyone looked shattered and tired. Looking at the sky it was crystal clear and really sunny to at least do some exercise. Once the bell rang everyone walked casually like always and stood in line to wait for Mr Reid. When Mrs Golder started the timer everyone dashed off in a flash. About five minutes into the fitness, everyone was puffed out, but we had fun anyway.

๐Ÿฅ› National Milk Day ๐Ÿฅ›

Today is an exciting day for New Zealand.  It's National Milk Day! Since it's National Milk Day our teacher decided that we should have photos taken. I didn't know there was a day called National Milk Day, until our teacher mentioned it. I was really confused. While everyone settled down drinking their milk I took pictures of everyone in the class. Milk is very good for our bones, muscles and our health. I'm glad that we celebrated National Milk Day.
